How the Movement Began
Every movement starts somewhere. Ours started with a simple belief shared by a group of Chicagoans who refused to accept the status quo. This is how we got here.

Our Journey
A Shared Frustration
It started the way most movements do — with people who had simply had enough. A group of like-minded Chicagoans found each other and discovered they all shared the same frustration: nobody was taking the issue of dirty clams seriously. They decided that if no one else was going to do something about it, they would.
From Conversation to Conviction
What began as casual conversations turned into something deeper. Meetings became regular. Ideas became plans. Plans became action. The group realized that to truly make a difference, they needed structure, they needed unity, and they needed to organize as a union.
Finding Our Voice
The early days were about finding our identity. Our chants emerged naturally — raw, passionate expressions of what we stood for. When we first raised our voices together in public, something clicked. The energy was electric. People stopped, listened, and many joined on the spot.
Building the Brotherhood
Growth was organic. Word of mouth. Friend telling friend. Neighbor telling neighbor. People who felt the same frustration discovered they weren't alone. Every new member strengthened our resolve and expanded our reach across Chicago's neighborhoods.
Making Real Change
As our numbers grew, so did our ability to make things happen. We started sitting at tables that mattered. Our voice carried weight. Agreements were made. Standards were set. What was once just an idea was now a force that couldn't be ignored.
Where We Stand Today
We've come a long way from those first meetings. Our brotherhood continues to grow, our cause continues to resonate, and our commitment has never wavered. We are proud of what we've built, but we know the work is far from over.
Looking to the Future
Our story is still being written. What we've built is something special, but we know the best is yet to come. Our missionhasn't changed — we still believe that every clam should be clean, and we will keep fighting until that's the standard everywhere.
The movement is bigger than any one person. It's about what happens when people who share a belief come together and refuse to back down. Our chants carry that spirit. Our events channel that energy. And every new member who joins the brotherhood makes us stronger.
